My fees vary according to length, depth, speed of delivery and the level of specialism needed to do a good job. Depending on the complexity and length of the project, costs will cover:

  • Creative thinking and brainstorming
  • Researching and writing the copy
  • Revisions (usually two rounds of revisions or three versions) including talking through revision comments
  • Proofreading (by you or outsourced)
  • General project admin (such as emailing and record keeping)

All blog posts, articles and features will be thoroughly researched and proofread. The range of prices I may charge start as follows:

Copy Writing / Blogs / Articles/ Feature

  • Blog posts/articles (up to 600 words) – £110
  • Blog posts/articles (600 – 1,000 words) – £150
  • Blog posts/articles (1,000 – 1,500 words) - £220
  • Heavily researched articles and features (1000 - 2500 words) - £510

Monthly blog-post packages:

  • o The Bronze Package: 5 x 600-word blog posts per month – £500 (£50 discount when compared to buying the blog posts individually)
  • o The Silver Package: 5 x 600 – 1,000-word blog posts per month – £700 (£50 discount when compared to buying the blog posts individually)
  • o The Gold Package: 10 x 600-word blog posts per month – £1000 (£100 discount when compared to buying the blog posts individually)
  • o The Platinum Package: 10 x 600 – 1,000-word blog posts per month –- £1400 ( £100 discount when compared to buying the blog posts individually)

Copy Editing

Per 1000 words: £21 - £35 (Depending on the scope of the project).

As a rough guideline, my day rate is between £180 and £380. I may ask to see a selection of samples to ascertain your needs and come up with a price that satisfies both parties. Same day or next day turnaround/evening and weekend work incur a 40% additional charge.

Proofreading

Per 1000 words : £24.70

I may ask to see a selection of samples. Partial re-writing may add to costs, but I will discuss this with you beforehand.
